This very moment, as you read these Bible quotes about how to be saved, you are faced with the ultimate decision—will you turn to God, to the heavenly Father who created you and loves you dearly, or will you stay away from God, separated by your sin?

In the previous collection of Bible verses about sin, we have heard all about how we are sinful and how we cannot please God on our own. So how can we come near to God?

The wonderful truth is that our Father has done everything in His power to save us. In the following Bible verses about salvation we see that, through Jesus, we can enter into the holy presence of our Father. The sacrifice of the only begotten Son of God was for the totality of our sins—Jesus took the guilt for all our sins when He was nailed to the cross. This ultimate sacrifice for our redemption paved the way for us to be forgiven by God and enter His family, opening the floodgates to countless blessings.

The Bible tells us to believe in God and live for Him, not ourselves. This faith is a gift from God and when we have the light of Christ, we can see, understand, accept and adore much more of God and the things of God. This faith is a special gift from our Father, without which no-one can come close to seeing or understanding anything written in the Bible.

The way to salvation and Good News of the Bible can be obscured and made overly complicated. But, if we cut through the layers of interpretation, traditions and other man-made rules, the way to salvation can be seen for what it truly is – simple enough for everyone to understand. So simple in fact that it has been ridiculed by the world ever since it was first spoken.

Book of Bible verses logoThe letter below is based on the fifth chapter of the Christian book Letters from Home, Our Father’s Message of Love and is called, We have been reconciled, so turn to me. This letter was written by paraphrasing the Scripture quotes about salvation that show how we can be forgiven and saved, detailing the plan of salvation and God’s intense love for us.

Here we have the plan of salvation laid out simply in a way that everyone can understand.

As you read these Bible verses about salvation, think about the love that God has for you in preparing a way for you to join His family and take the final step towards spending eternity with God.

Bible verses about

I want to reveal and explain everything to you.[1] My secret wisdom has been hidden in ages past[2] and nobody had seen or heard what I have prepared for you,[3] but my Spirit will teach you[4] and I will reveal myself to you.[5] I will open your eyes so that you may see wonderful things.[6]

Although you do not know how to do right,[7] realise that my kindness enables you to turn to me.[8] United with my Son Jesus you can be forgiven of your sins.[9] I love my Son and have placed everything in his hands.[10] He has destroyed death and brought life and immortality to light.[11] My child, if you receive my Son into your life, you become the very child of Almighty God.[12] The wages of sin is death, but my gift to you is everlasting life in union with my Son.[13]

I created you and gave you life.[14] I invite you now to be partners with my Son in a wonderful friendship,[15] for at present we are separated by your sin.[16] I want you to be with me, my child[17]—turn away from your sin and all heaven will rejoice.[18]

Now is the time, today you can be saved.[19] By my loving kindness, I have shown salvation to all people.[20] For every living soul belongs to me, both parent and child.[21]

As my moral law was powerless to save you, weakened as it was by your sinful nature, I sent my own Son in the likeness of a sinful man to be your sacrifice.[22] My law guided and directed you to him and, as faith has now come to you, you are no longer watched over by the law.[23] Do you understand that you are justified by your faith and not by trying to follow strict rules?[24] My Son redeemed you from this curse of the law by becoming a curse for you.[25]

Anyone who has sinned has broken my moral law, but Jesus has come to take away your sins.[26] I made him who had no sin to be your sin, so that you may be made blameless before me.[27] For my Son did not come into this world to be served, but to give his life in payment for you.[28] He bore your sins in his body, so that you might die to sin and live for good.[29]

At the right time, when you were powerless,[30] Christ died for your sins once and for all time to bring you to me.[31] He gave himself to redeem you, to buy you back and purify you so you could become his very own.[32] For if you walk in the light with Jesus, his sacrificed blood purifies you from all sin.[33]

Jesus died for you all so that you should no longer live for yourselves, but for him.[34] Whoever has my Son has life itself,[35] but he who does not believe stands condemned.[36] Whoever believes in my Son has everlasting life, but he who rejects my Son must endure my anger.[37]

Humble yourselves, therefore, and I will lift you up;[38] if you confess your sins, I will be faithful to forgive and purify you.[39] You will be allowed to receive my goodness as a free gift by faith,[40] for through my Son Jesus you have access to your Father, by the one Spirit.[41] Therefore, just as you have confidence to enter the holiest of places by his blood,[42] draw near to me, draw near with a sincere heart and with the full assurance of faith.[43]

Sin shall no longer be your master for you are no longer under law but under my grace.[44] When Jesus died, he died to sin once and for all time. In the same way, consider yourself dead to sin but alive to me, in my Son Christ Jesus.[45] You were once controlled by your sinful nature; but by dying to what kept you prisoner, you have been released and serve in the new way of the Spirit.[46]

Disregard your former way of life, your old self, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind. Clothe yourself with your new nature, created in the fashion of my holiness.[47]

Anyone who does not have my Spirit does not accept anything that is from my Spirit; it is stupidity to them and they cannot understand it.[48] This message appears to be foolishness to those who will not listen, but to you who are being saved it is my own great power.[49] These things are hidden from the conceited, but I am contented to reveal them to little children,[50] for heaven itself belongs to such as these.[51]

In all honesty, my child, if you hear and believe me, you have eternal life—you have passed over from death to life.[52] To believe like this is a gift from me and it is through this faith that you are saved.[53]

No one who denies my Son has me, but whoever accepts him has me also.[54] When you believe, you receive my Holy Spirit.[55] There is no longer any condemnation for those in my Son[56]—I condemned the sin in you; now the righteousness of my law can be worked out in you.[57]

At the end of time, angels will come and separate the ungodly from the righteous.[58] I will not forsake my faithful ones; I will protect them for ever.[59] But the wicked, those who call evil good and good evil, those who substitute light for darkness,[60] they will be cut off.[61] They will go to eternal punishment,[62] for the sting of death is sin,[63] but the righteous will go to eternal life.[64]

The cross has put an end to any hostility between me and you.[65] When Jesus made peace through his blood shed on the cross, all things, whether on earth or in heaven, were reconciled;[66] he nailed your very own debt to the cross.[67]

My Son did away with sin once and forever.[68] Therefore, if you are in my Son, you are a new creation—all things have been transformed.[69]

My children shall live by their faith,[70] and through faith you can approach me freely and confidently.[71] Therefore stand before me with boldness and receive my mercy and help in times of need.[72] By my grace you have been saved by your faith, which I have given you.[73]

I showed my grace to you, and brought with it salvation for all.[74] Come close to me, my child, and I will come close to you. Be pure in all your thoughts, motives and deeds;[75] love me, and I and my Son will make our home with you.[76]
